Between October 02 – 04, 2026, the Annual Meeting of the Romanian Shoulder and Elbow Society will take place, held under the patronage of SECEC, at the K2 Alpin Event Center, Atlas Hall, Poiana Brașov.
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
It is my great pleasure to invite orthopaedic surgeons with an interest in shoulder and elbow surgery to join us this year in Poiana Brașov for the 5th Annual Meeting of the Romanian Shoulder and Elbow Society (SRUC / RESS) — a landmark edition, and our first meeting held under the patronage of SECEC, the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow.
This year marks a true first for Romania. For the very first time, the congress will be preceded by a complex cadaveric arthroscopy course of the shoulder, together with a cadaveric elbow arthroscopy course — the first of its kind in the country. Organised in partnership with the Transilvania University of Medicine, Brașov and Medical Ortovit, this hands-on cadaveric programme will lead directly into the three days of congress that follow.
Together, the course and congress create a five-day experience without precedent for surgeons dedicated to the upper limb — combining cadaveric hands-on training, live surgery, interactive workshops and state-of-the-art scientific sessions in a single, immersive meeting.
We are honoured to welcome more than 15 international faculty members from around the world, who will share their experience and expertise directly with Romanian surgeons — an exceptional opportunity to learn, exchange knowledge and build lasting professional connections.

The Romanian Shoulder and Elbow Society (SRUC) is a non profit society made up of orthopedic surgeons specialized in or with a special interest in shoulder and elbow surgery.
We are trying to bring together Romanian and foreign surgeons to share their ideas, knowledge and expertise in upper limb surgery.
The annual congress aims to serve as a forum where people interested in this field can chat, exchange ideas and experience and present the results of their research in shoulder and elbow surgery.
